Prayer of Adoration

Father, Lord of Light and Love, awaken our senses today in spite of the cold wind outside, to perceive your marvelous works in all that surrounds us.
Let us endeavor to praise you for all your gifts.
We want to feel that same leaping for joy in our spirits that Elizabeth felt when she knew salvation in the form of the baby Christ was coming!
Father, come open our eyes and ears and hearts to experience your JOY!
Let your loving presence help us gather in the goodness and light and push away the shadows that wait to capture that joy.
We praise you, God, for your awesome plans and your awesome ways.
Give us wisdom and the desire to enjoy all that you have given us in your Son, Jesus.
Amen.

Prayer of Adoration

Oh Lord, our Lord, how majestic is your name in all the earth!

Oh Lord, we praise your name. Oh Lord, we magnify your name, 

You are prince of peace, Mighty God,

Oh Lord, God almighty!

How privileged we are that YOU, the majestic creator of ALL, love US. That you pursue a loving relationship with us. That your love for us is a STUBBORN love. PRAISE you Lord for that STUBBORN love that never gives up on us. How wonderful to know that You have chosen us to be your hands and your presence in the world.

Thank you for your Son who carried all our weight and all our sorrows on His shoulders. Thank you that we can let go of our cares and our worries and Let the peace of Christ rule over us.

And finally, Lord, we invite the Holy Spirit to fill this place today, Lord. We expect to hear great things, we expect to see great things, and we expect that Your Holy Love and presence will change us!

Fill us with your love and your power so that we may irrigate our families and our community with the HOPE that is YOU!

Prayer of Adoration

Holy Father,
We thank you that you give the gift of "grace" to us- without it we cannot stand in your presence.
We thank you God for the "goodness" that is YOU! That is evident today in the beauty of your creation. The natural world around us is bursting with life and color.
Just as these window surround us and remind us of Your Love Story for us - let us mimic the flowers and trees and "bloom" with love for you! And let us mimic the brass instruments that are ministering to us today in that we too can SHOUT for joy in our NEW LIFE in You!
We thank you again for sending your son to die for us and we are jubilant that He ROSE AGAIN! And now lives in us!
We love you, God-all glory and praise be to you, forever!
